Technology includes the use of  materials, tools, techniques, and sources of power to make life easier or more pleasant and work more productive while Educational technology is the the study and ethical practice of facilitating learning and improving performance by creating, using and managing appropriate technological processes and resources. Technology in here is use in academic purposes. This is where learning becomes more interesting and more effective. Students can be hands on and more focused  in the search for answers of problems and in organizing and presenting them to class. the use of educational technology has advantages. One of its advantages is that, students can acquire some information that could not be found in the books through the use of computers which suit bests as an example of educational technology. with the help of educational technology, learning becomes much easier and operational.

I agree that educational technology dictates the appropriate pedagogy compared to technology alone because when we say technology it has a lot purposes like it can refer to material aspects of use of humanity such as machines. In educational technology students tend to learn some information that are relevant to them.
